She is smiling through the pain! On Monday she thought she was feeling well enough to ride her bike, and jump on the trampoline! Bad idea! She gave the wound trauma! It started bleeding again, and she popped one of the stitches. She is more pain now, and we found out that the fall made have dislocated her knee. She will get her stitches out on Thursday the 3rd, Katie's 1st birthday. The next week she will visit a sports medicine ciropractor for knee theropy! Yikes!! Good thing she is such a tough cookie!

Changes to My House

1st, we got a new(old) table. Here's the story.... Joe and I were on a date down-town Boise, and were walking around when we spotted this cute concinment story. We thought, no harm in looking around. When we were just about to leave, we saw this gorgeous table. We both loved it. It was exactly what we have been looking for. We sat down to it, to dream.....because we don't have a ton of money sitting around, when we were shocked by the price tag. $199 for the table. $250 for the 6 chairs. Totally within our budget! We put it on hold, came back the next morning and took it home. I LOVE IT!!!!! Talk about being in the right place at the right time.

2nd, we are tearing the bar out. We really haven't used it at all, except to stack clutter on. most of you know how much clutter bugs me, so I decided to eliminate the clutter by eliminating it. We are going to make it into a Craft Corner for the girls. We have a little table and 4 chairs to go in it's place. There is an extra bonus to getting rid of the bar....the girls wont be doing crafts and play-do on my new table! Yeah!! Here's a little video of Joe getting frustrated with the bar while he is tearing it out.

Ouchy Fairy Strikes Again and Again

Okay, we really did have a great day....but the evening is a completely different matter.
We went to Janet's to have yummy home-made pizza. About 10 minutes into us arriving, Maggie comes bursting into the house from the front yard where she and Lilli had been playing. I thought, "Oh geez.... fighting all ready?" But then I heard what Maggie was screaming. "Lilli is bleeding! Lilli is bleeding!" Words a parent never likes to hear.
Joe and I RAN outside to find Lilli on the ground, her leg nearly gushing blood. We both knew right away she would need stiches. We got her inside and started cleaning the wound. Janet was helping me, because Joe really hates the sight of blood. It started oozing really weird. Clotty almost. Janet said, "We need to get her to the ER now."
We did, we waited, and waited, and waited. Lilli was a trooper!!! Our local hospital's ER sucks!!
Finally 1 1/2 hours later, Lilli was getting her stitches. She only cried a little, when she got the 2nd numbing shot. So, it was a 3cm long tear, she received 6 stiches.
Oh, she got hurt by climbing a Lilliac Tree in an attempt to get her ball. Silly girl. Here are some pictures of our trooper.

Okay, I did say Ouchy Fariy Strikes Again and AGAIN right?

Emily.... Stayed in the sun too long today. I put sunscreen on her, once... I know, I know. Any way, she was pretty miserable by bed time. Also, her pretty new shoes gave her a blister, which is hurting her bad too. Sometimes good days can turn into bad days, and those kind of days quickly turn into Mommy has a migrain days. I'm glad I can close the book on this day. Good-night!

Somr Fun with the Camera

Okay, so here's the deal. Katherine Jo Green pulled my Nikon down off the table on Emily's birthday and broke it!!!! Luckily it had a full waranty. It is being fixed. Since we don't have the big camera, we have been playing around with the little red one. It has been lying around the house. Well, today I turned it on to take a picture and when I played it back to see what was on the SD card, this is what I found.
Have Fun!

I think Maggie had a little too much fun! Any one else?!

Happy Father's Day

To all the father's out there that read our blog, we hope you had a great Father's Day. This is a re-do of the primary numbers the girls did in church.

I am very sorry that I was singing along with them during the second number, I got carried away. I am the Primary Chorister, so I am used to singing along with the children all the time.

So So So Many Things To Blog About

There has been a few events to blog about.

1st, we had the pleasure of having a visit with my sister Leisha, her husband Brian and their 5 kids on the weekend of the 31st of May. We spent Saturday with them at the park, playing and visiting. I had the pleasure of taking their family pictures on Sunday, for more on that visit my Lacey's Lens website. On Monday we went to the zoo. We had a blast with them and wish they lived closer so we could see them more. We love you guys!

Hello Mr. Tiger. GRRRRRR!

Playing with cousin Kali, what a great baby-sitter and ballet friend!

2nd, Maggie's Graduation from Kindergarten! Yep. they actually had a ceremony, complete with diplomas and eveything! They sang a song called "Start Spreading the News". It was a copy of the Frank Sinatra song, "New York".

~Start spreading the news. I'm leaving today. I'm going to make the most of it, 1st grade, 1st grade!~

It was really cute!

Getting her diploma!
Thank you for a great year Mrs. Badger!

Next, Emily's 3rd birthday! She was pretty grumpy all day long due to staying up a little too late the night before, and waking early. She didn't want me to take her pictures to much, very un-characteristic of her. Anyway, we did a really low-key day. She wanted to go to McDonalds for dinner, because she wanted to play on the toys, but once we got there, she didn't want to play on the toys. What a waist of money! Sounds like a 3 year old, doesn't it?! Here's some pictures.

She received her 1st real "piggy" bank, and a little over $2 in change to put in it's tummy.

Her favorite gift was this one from Daddy. The Mystery Machine for her Scooby Doo figurines. Thanks Daddy.
Yummy Cake time!!!

Last but not at least, Lilli's baptism!! What a very very special day for our 8 year old. Lilli was baptized on June 7th. Joe baptized her. It was a very nice program. Her two good friends Brooke and Sydnee were baptized with her. It was nice. My Mom gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. Thanks Mom, I really appreciate all you do!

Lilli and Daddy, anxiously awaiting the start of the program! Three generations.....I am soooo Thankful for the beautiful ladies in my life!

Memorial Day

So, it is weeks past, but my life has been too busy. I usually find a moment to blog, but I guess too much has been on my plate.
Anyway, on Memorial Day, we had the opportunity to go to Rabit Creek to do a little 4wheeling! Yipee!!! My kids have been begging to go since last Memorial Day! It has serious been a year since we have gone! SLACKERS!!!! We have so much fun, we all love it, we need to go more often. It is definetly a way for us to have good quality family time.
Here is some cute pictures of our trip.

Katie loved 4wheeling, and would bounce and whine untill she got a ride!

Lilli and Maggie graduated to having full reign of the throttle. Go speed racer, Go! Karl and Joe both had a lot of fun toying around with the kids bikes. Silly men! The movie line from Tommy Boy comes to mind. "Fat guy in a little coat."

Emi was running a fever, and consequently, very cranky. She stayed inside the camper for most of the time with a cold bandana around her head. She didn't want to ride anything, even the slowest ride was too fast. Maybe next year she will enjoy 4wheeling as much as all 3 of her sisters did this year.
Lilli and Maggie were racing by the end of the day. Crazy girls! Thankyou Aunt Kris and Uncle Jeff for purchasing such wonderful helmets for them to use! Without them we could have been visited by the "Ouchy" Fairy! Remeber last year......
Here's the girls, racing! Competetive, no way, not Lilli and Maggie!!
Thank you Family for a great day!!!
