Thank Goodness For Little Girls

My AWESOME little sister made this dress for Kate!
I am so thankful that she is so creative and that she has Jules!
Katie and Jules are only 10 days apart and
Katie always gets to reap the rewards of Lindsay's creativity!
Katie calls this her "flower girl dress"

And yes, it was made from a mens shirt!

WE LOVE IT!
Thank You so much, Linds!

On Any Given Sunny Day

You will find my children riding their bikes...
Yes, and usually in dresses!

Who said you can't be sporty and beautiful at the same time?

Katie is so sassy!

And yes, a dress for her as well.
At least I could convince HER to wear leggins!

I told you I was going to do it!

AND I DID!!

This is my natural color!!

I still am a blonde? Well, some highlights are there.
I can't wait for summer sun to get it nice and streaked!

Change is good!

Choir Concert at the Capitol

Our State Capitol.... yes, taken by me!

This is one of the wings on the main floor.

"Winged Victory"

The inside of the dome!

Emily looking up at the dome.

Lilli looking up at the dome, from the bleachers.

The Centennial Hip Hop Singers.
Taken from the 3rd floor.

Such a good little choir girl.... so attentive!
She makes me proud.

We are so happy to have our State Capitol back. It looks great, and the sound was awesome!
I am so happy that my daughter had the chance to sing in this great hall, just as I had!

Remember when?

The kids were all out playing on the trampoline
They were playing, "Dead Man".
I know.... that sounds MORBID.
But I remeber playing this at my friends house.
"Dead man, dead man, come alive..... before I can't to number 5! Come Alive!!!"

I didn't teach them this game. They picked up somewhere else.
I guess kids will be kids.

Here is Emily being the "DEAD MAN"

It was all fun and games, but when is it NOT at my house?!
